Jim Sullivan was a cult folk-rocker in the ’60s and ’70s who was just days away from his big break when he disappeared. This was a man who had all the talent, all the right connections, and had just landed a gig in Nashville, Tennessee, that would have been his big break … if he had ever made it there.
His car was found abandoned in New Mexico, outside of Santa Rosa. His belongings, including his guitar, were later found in a nearby motel, but there was no trace of the man himself. Some theorize that he simply chose to disappear, but all of his friends stated that he would never have left his guitar behind.
